Whitehorse walkabout

You know those days when you just leave the house in a comfortable pair of shoes and a few layers of clothes, and enjoy whatever comes your way? We have had a few of those days in Whitehorse, and on this one we took the camera and snapped photos of lots of things that caught our eyes.

Some important things that we have to share are:
(1) we now know where to get the best coffee and date squares in town,
(2) the airport has a sandy beach,
(3) you can have a great conversation with anyone over 19 years old in Canada by commiserating about how much time teenagers spend on their smartphones,
(4) there are a lot of ways in which Whitehorse is like Nassau, Bahamas,
(4) we are taking you to the Capital hotel for beer and dominoes when you visit, and
(5) big city political-correctness is not the worst thing- overhearing small-minded jokes targeting everyone besides middle-aged white men with gray ponytails is a bit worse.
