Last few days in photos

Hello all,

We have missed writing on the blog lately, but have spent our time on some worthwhile pursuits:

We volunteered to help maintain the Annie Lake Golf Course on Saturday, a beautiful 18-hole course cleared in the 50s by Army dudes looking for some recreation while building the Alaska Highway. The course is owned by the Mt Lorne Community Association, and they held a bison-themed BBQ afterwards for volunteers. This place is awesome!

Third Fireweed Market of the season, last Thursday. That was the last of the rainy days lately, but it has been a bit cool and cloudy since then

Mosquito-proof tent: check. Dog pen: almost check

Yukon is rich in beautiful bluey-purpley flowers

Securing the dog pen!

A photo from Colin's day in town on Tuesday, spent hiking up Grey Mountain (background), and around Chadburn Lake

Spring lupins

Going for a wade in Kookatsoon Lake on the way home on Wednesday (only 5 min away!)

Our view from the sofa

Colin and this little guy spent their Wednesday afternoon together at our place

He ambled around the house, and Colin watched from inside

Hey! That's my parking spot!
Bye for now,
Love Lauren and Colin
